Desperate as it can be, the Duterte regime now again attempts to appease its foreign masters by allowing full foreign ownership on public services such as the power industry, transportation, and communication.

Contrary to what the so-called “economists” of the Duterte regime claim, further application of neoliberal policies in our economy would only benefit the ruling elites and imperialist plunderers.

This would only allow foreign capitalists to gain billions of profit while using our own natural resources for their gluttonous taste of wealth at the expense of cheap labor in our country.

Instead of raising wages and ending contractualization on the basis of building a national industry and genuine land reform, this government only portrays itself as the best example of an imperialist puppet and bureaucrat syndicate.

This treacherous act would only add up to a numerous reasons on why we should overthrow Duterte’s regime by mass upheavals in the cities and advancing the peoples war while planting seeds of red political power on the countryside.
